โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก คุณธนนท์ พรรพีภาส รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดชลบุรี เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน พร้อมด้วย ประธานสภาวัฒนธรรมจังหวัดชลบุรี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วัชรินทร์ กาสลัก ผู้รักษาการแทนอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา คณะผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัย และแขกผู้มีเกียรติร่วมในพิธีเปิดงาน
นิทรรศการครั้งนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจาก คุณพิเชษฐ กลั่นชื่น ประธานอนุกรรมการขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมด้านศิลปะการแสดง (คณะกรรมการยุทธศาสตร์ซอฟต์พาวเวอร์แห่งชาติ) และศิลปินศิลปาธร สาขาศิลปะการแสดง ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2552 นำเสนอผลงานวาดภาพประกอบการเต้นร่วมสมัย พร้อมการบรรเลงดนตรีไทยจากชมรมรักษ์ดนตรีไทย ชลบุรี (องค์กรสาธารณประโยชน์) นำโดยรองศาสตราจารย์ไพพรรณ อินทนิล ประธานชมรม
นิทรรศการดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการวิจัย "การศึกษาต้นทุนทางวัฒนธรรมมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาเพื่อพัฒนาเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยว (A Study of Burapha University's Cultural Capital for the Tourist Attraction Development)" โดย ดร.ณัฏฐนันธ์ เอื้อศิลป์ อาจารย์ประจำคณะดนตรีและการแสดง ซึ่งได้รับทุนอุดหนุนการวิจัยจากงบประมาณเงินรายได้ คณะดนตรีและการแสดง มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา
